This affluent neighborhood is built near the small Lake Sahara near Summerlin. Living here is like living next to a lakeside resort. It’s been voted one of the best neighborhoods in Las Vegas and 14th in all of Nevada.
Henderson is a quieter Las Vegas location with more gated communities and retirement locations. Not only that but since it’s one of the more humble of places to live, you’ll be saving a lot of money. It’s a cheap place to live. Henderson is also a great place to start hiking in your own backyard, as it’s an ideal location to find trails. Not to mention, it’s well within driving distance of Lake Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam.
3. Summerlin South
One of the newest out of the best Las Vegas neighborhoods, Summerlin South is a master planned community just right for anyone of any price range. Located very close to Red Rock Canyon, you can enjoy hiking and sightseeing whenever you want.
4. Blue Diamond
Blue Diamond is ranked as one of the safest neighborhoods in Las Vegas, having had virtually no crime whatsoever. This part of town enjoys a lot of beautiful gardens and outdoor experiences for those who love hiking and enjoying the outdoors. It is also the home of Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, a popular location.
5. Spring Valley
Coming in at number five on the best Las Vegas neighborhoods, Spring Valley offers incredibly affordable homes in ranch style and modern townhomes at the edge of The Lakes. This is another area that is great for those who love the outdoors and the activities it comes with. The Spanish Trail Country Club is nearby and you can enjoy a picnic at the Charlie Frias Park. It’s also within reasonable driving distance from Red Rock Canyon.
